Meet Anne
Anne is a lifetime resident of Decatur. She has a MA in Clinical Psychology and a commitment to public service.
She came to Northeast Community Fund in 2019 after retiring from the Department of Human Services where she held a variety of casework, supervisory and administrative positions during the thirty years she was employed by the State. She also worked part-time as a Mental Health Counselor in the private sector for a period of that time.
Anne's community involvement has included being a member of branches of HSAC focusing on the elderly, youth, the disabled, and mental health. She served as a board member for Thrivent and Workforce Investment Solutions. Some of her volunteer activities have included working with Macon Resources, Special Olympics, Girl Scouts, the Share Food Program, and the Macon County Conservation District.
